Texting to groups on iPhone

As it turns out, you can send a text to multiple people but you can not send to a list. Even though you have groups in your address you can not type a group name in and send a text to that group. There is a work-a-round. If you type in the contacts or phone numbers for several people, you can send them a text, and if you return to that thread (or converstaion) you can send to that group again. Not perfect, but it works...
